There’s honestly not much to say about pictures when you get the most perfect woman, location, lighting and feeling ever. At that point I believe the pictures just speak for themselves and if I tried to do so, they would just loose all meaning. You see what you want to and take from them what you want to. I am only here to take you through a journey.
I believe that one of the sincerest ways to show others but MOST IMPORTANTLY yourself love and self worth, is getting some boudoir photos done. I mean obviously right?? The courage and strength a woman has to step in front of a camera and a photographer exposed, vulnerable and open, is such a powerful thing to me. It moves me to my core because I know that you only will look this way for a few certain, or one certain person in your life. For you to be that open and share the side of you only few ever get to see is one of the greatest forms of joy I can experience. You show me your trust, your willingness and your faith in me as a photographer who is in control of how you are portrayed at your most vulnerable. It is not an easy thing to strip down to your skivvies and be that free with yourself and your body, especially for women. But it is my job to capture all of you and all of your beauty in one single photograph, and let me tell you lady, I AM HONORED.
So when I think of what it means to be a woman, I think of boudoir. The vulnerability that we all have and not being afraid to show it. I think of how damn sexy, crazy amazing, strong, intelligent and creative beings we are. I am a woman and proud of it.
WOMAN. YOU. ARE. BEAUTY.
& this is when Kendra realized that she wanted to shoot more boudoir.
