Step into the Washington Skyline with Aliina and Andrew’s hot air balloon wedding. A covid friendly wedding ceremony from 2,500 feet…
2020 sure did something to me and I think it made me slow down a lot more. I have been SITTING on some MAGIC for over two years now and I cannot believe it’s took this long. Here is one of many, amazing memories that I still got to safely be apart of in the year of all years, 2020.
Aliina and Andrew were one of the few couples that decided to get married in a year where commitment, pledging your love, happiness in sickness & health, meant the most. Not only did they move forward with their wedding, but they decide to do something SO DAMN COOL and I was just honored to be apart of. Despite the 4am wake up on this day, I was beyond ready to photograph a new kind of wedding, one I have not had the opportunity to photograph yet! It’s not every day there is a world wide pandemic that forces you to make unique choice for your wedding day. If anything, 2020 did breed a new kind of wedding vibe. I will wait in anticipation to see how this year transcends all future weddings!
Through all the new planning, ideas and what-to-do’s for their new day and I get this message.. “We are finally getting around to booking things and really thinking about what to do next month. We are thinking about doing an elopement but possibly getting married on a hot air balloon. What do you think about that?” I’M IN! I don’t think I could of typed faster. Cheers to these two and a big HELL YEAH to doing something so cool and memorable for your wedding.
If you are ready to take that step with you and tour little bebe, let’s book your maternity boudoir! These moments can only come once in a lifetime!
