These two lovers came with an idea, and I’d say we executed it pretty nicely at their couple boudoir session..
Not only was able to witness their love and magic via a couples boudoir session, but I also got photograph BOTH of their proposals. I was secret little photographer at both proposals and it was incredible! Ashlyn proposed to Mara at Salty’s with a private porch and a view of the Seattle Skyline. And Mara proposed to Ashlyn at a private museum tour where, one of these photos below, we’re apart of the museum art! Thanks to 2020 for needing less people around, but COVID proposal were intimate AF.
To witness a special kind of love is such a perk to my job. Hearing their story, how they became a couple, all the adversity they went through and hearing the story about their letters make me feel like true love exists There are some partners that are destained for each other. Ashlyn and Mara spent years not being able to fully be together. They asked if we could take this picture of just some of the hundreds of letters they have written back to one another.
Years of love letters they shared to one another and they wanted to bo covered int those letters for one photo. These letters are such a full circle moment for them because not only did we photograph with their letters, but both proposals had these letter incorporated. Talk about fairytale love story.
It all was truly magical to watch and these two deserve nothing but a lifetime of happiness in love
