This Brown Family Homestead wedding is one books.
When I say magic wedding at the Brown Family Homestead, I mean it!
When Stephanie and Ken reached out about their big day and told me about their love stay I was instantly hooked. These two met and almost instantly went and hiked 100 miles on the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) together. What a way to lead from that to this day at the Brown Family Homestead.
This wedding was seriously one for the books. Down to EVERY little detail of this perfect wedding, Stephanie and Ken outdid themselves. Stephanie’s incredible dress, the florals, their wedding invite. Everything so perfectly curated for a sweet little wedding nestled between the mountains at Brown Family Homestead. The coined this day ‘Magic Wedding’ day, because it truly was. To their love story that formed on the trail in the mountains, to this picture perfect day nestled in some other mountains near the PCT.
Ken surprising his soon to be wife with a bouquet of flowers was one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen. Sometimes it’s something as little as a bouquet to remind you that you are loved, seen, and that everything is going to be okay. I was nearly in tears and that day hadn’t even begun really. These sweet little moments are honestly some of my favorite moments to capture on a wedding day, because these moments all look different and are such a joy to witness.
Brown Family Homestead has just about everything for a dream wedding!
To the sweet little barn like cabin that they were able to stay in, the ceremony location up the hill and the reception under the tent full of old wooden tables and chairs. This is honestly one of the prettiest venues I have photographed!
When Stephanie and Ken told me that they had a sweet little beach spot to use courtesy of the venue for their couples, I was ecstatic. Little did I know what a small little slice of heaven that we were able to use at their first look spot. The owners who run Brown Family Homestead really take so much care in their space and the experience of the couple. It’s such a wonderful venue, and I can’t wait to be back!
Stephanie’s wedding dress was true perfection. I absolutely love this design for a very extra loving couple who enjoy nature. The dress was born for the beach, the forest, or the mountains. It suited perfectly with the Brown Family Homestead and all the florals, the bridesmaids dresses, the table decorations, everything really. There is truly nothing that I love more than a wedding day that matches perfectly through and through. It’s s special kind of wedding dress because it really belongs outdoors, so it was a dress made for Stephanie.

Those reception tables were like a DREAM. When I said that the owners at Brown Family Homestead are all about this experience and making it so visually stunning, let these images be visual proof. As a photographer, this space is just the best to photograph at. The mixed matched tables are just a small little touch that make this space pure perfection in my opinion. With Stephanie and Ken’s added magic and wedding vision, makes this day all the more special.

Why not end it with one of the most beautiful horses I’ve ever seen?!
To make Brown Family Homestead even better, they have horses. Even better, better, Stephanie is well versed with horses too so she was just a natural at handling this beautiful creature. Seeing Ken look at her in admiration makes these photos even sweeter.
