The McQueen's: An Unforgettable Celebration at AXIS in Seattle

AXIS Pioneer Square in Seattle is absolutely breathtaking and I’m honored to of been their photographer!

Anyways…

Lucy and Obie… where do I even begin. I fell in love the second they inquired with me and Lucy mentioned that her future husband Obie, would be taking her last name, McQueen. Lucy and Obie McQueen, we’re off to a real good start! But then, they told me they were getting married at Axis Pioneer Square, and I jumped for joy literally.

A meet up in a bar close to home with their enormously huge floof Walter, sure felt like long lost friends meeting, rather than clients. We used their engagement session for family photos on Lucys side and it was lovely to get to know her family. We took them at a winery and they’re fabulous. What family photos with adult children should be!

Timeless beauties.

Lucy and Obie quite literally are timeless beauties in their wedding photos. Lucy with her dreamy and romantic dress and full white bouquet balancing out everything so nice and softly. And Obie’s dark mixed earth tones throughout his suit paired just so perfectly with Lucy. And them in front of Axis Pioneer Square, just added perfectionism. That doesn’t even exist people!

I mean honestly, do you not just buckle at the knees and feel like you’re flying looking at these. Wedding photos that dreams are made of. They really had an amazing vision down to every detail about the day, and it was a 10/10. Would photograph again and I can’t wait to come back to Axis Pioneer Square for a wedding!

THE BRIDE WALKED DOWN THE AISLE TO HARRY POTTER

I mean what else was she supposed to walk down to with that gorgeous aisle! Athina really made Axis Pioneer Square look like a piece of Hogwarts was created in Seattle just for a night. The floral arrangements we’re everything and we must always prioritize amazing florists!

Then, Athina and her team switched this romantic ceremony set up, to the more dreamiest, dark romance vibes I have every photographed. All these dark green tones and white florals and candle lights looked immaculate against the brick in Axis Pioneer Square.
