Sometimes things in life can just happen and you’re not too sure why.
The day I finally was able to look at my own work and say aloud that I am good photographer. This session was one of those times where I was just smiling behind the computer saying, “yup…. this shit is damn good.” A lot of things can make photographs good. The photographer, the HUMA artist, the couples, the location, lighting, etc. This was one of those shoots where everything and everyone came together so perfectly words cannot describe.
To keep this one short and sweet, my high school friend and hair and makeup artist, Marci and I set up a shoot on the beach with a “bride” and “groom”. She found Yuki and I found Garrett. These are the first moments they spent together and I was lucky enough to document it. I started by saying, “wait, you guys are both Japanese right?” They started cracking up realizing they both were and then the rest of this shoot was history. It’s like they had known one another for years and it was so cute Marci and I we’re already calling a in real life couple, and now they totally are a in real life couple.
How cuuuuutttteee is that? It’s the fucking best. Enjoy the adorableness.
Let me repeat this one more time, these were taken within the first 2 hours of them meeting, 2 hours people.
