One of my favorite people at one of my favorite Seattle studios, that we not longer have, The Banana Stand! She’ll live on in our photo’s forever <3

The Banana Stand, by Alejandra. She closed down in 2023, but will forever remain a part of Seattle. She was around for three solid years and made a huge impact on the city. I’m just glad that in the time she was a studio to work at in the city, I was able to work there several times and create pure magic. It was one of the few, maybe even the only one, that had everything. Character, every changing decor, a massive amount of space, color, props larger than life and a personal touch that only would have been made possible by Alejandra herself.

Ellie was made for this space and was actually heavily inspired by Alejandra’s space and now has her own creative studio in Austin Texas where Ellie now lives! DottieWood Studios, named after her dog, of course. CLICK HERE TO SEE ELLIE’S SPACE IN AUSTIN.

Now that this one lives in Austin Texas- looks like our next sessions may be at DottieWood! Can’t wait for that <3
