Lauren, Ellie and I had a photoshoot with musician Howie Day!
The images captured within Alejandra’s Banana Stand, were some much needed update photos of Howie! I think he had mentioned his last time getting photographed professionally was some time ago. So naturally, I felt honored that he wanted to work with ME! But before we get there, how did I book musician Howie Day!?
A friend of mine, someone I have taken lots of photos for in the past, messages me asking if I knew of him. Immediately said yes, I mean, who doesn’t know his song Collide? Or, who hasn’t seen the first batch of Grey’s Anatomy seasons? Well, I know him from stumbling on his music early on when I was in school and then of course Grey’s Anatomy. That probably still feature’s amazing music! (Wouldn’t know because I tapped out after season 98.)

She then says to go look at my Instagram DM’s, because her sister wanted to put him in touch with me for some photos! So I opened my app and see a little blue check mark (before you could buy them) next to the name, Howie Day. Cut to- musician I used to listen to growing up, now hires me for photos! WHAT?!
With the help of Lauren of Seattle Beauty Boss and stylist Ellie, we created some awesome magic in Seattle for Howie Day. (A FEW YEARS AGO) I know, I am behind on blogging here.
