Howie Day: A Second Session at Humano Studios in Seattle
This round, Howie Day and I were at another local Seattle studio, which is now called in, Humano Studios in ID Seattle. Previous we all met for his first session at the infamous Banana Stand, which sadly has shut down! Click here to view that session.
This second session for Howie Day was a great one. It really showed me that having good quality outfits and clothing CAN matter and really show up well in photos. Not saying it matters for every person and every session. But quality can be seen and when you’re in a space like Humano Studios, where the light and white walls give us a great, simple and stark background for your clients to be photographed on.

If there is one thing I know for sure, Howie Day has some good jackets. Like I mentioned above, great clothing can be seen in photos! There are so many fun ways to access great clothing too for your sessions. Scoring while thrifting, or even renting clothes just for your photos could be some options.
Bring what you feel good in
Howie Day brought this red shirt in last minute because he loved how he felt in it and that it was comfortable. I thought, well let’s see what it looks like, and it turned out to be a favorite look for this session of mine. When you feel good in something it shows. Sometimes finding the best thing for your session is right in your closet.
Space and clothes are all we really need. It was s HONOR to worth with Howie Day again.
