If I am going to be honest with you here, this is the VERY first shoot I have done for a client who found me via my website. No word of mouth, no I know this person who knows this person who knows this person, no I saw your work you had done for a FB friend, nothing. I was thrilled! I think other photographers out there can relate, but it is very exciting to get a client who just see’s your work, falls in love, and books. Makes me one happy photog!
This couple is very special to me for multiple reasons. One, I’m shooting their wedding as well, and that is the most special day you’ll ever have, besides maybe the birth of your future children. Two, I can’t get enough of their story. Three, they’re just too damn cute and totally in love.
Kyle is in the Army and stationed in Korea and Amanda back home in Washington, is in the National Guard. As you can probably guess that’s where their story all began. They met in boot camp, and the rest was history. I have such the upmost respect for all our military soldiers out there. They are the 1%. The bravest, most honorable and determined individuals to live, in my biased opinion.
Here’s to our soldiers near and far, to the happy matrimony of this military couple, and to more frickin adorable pictures to come in April.
