Engayged! A session turned proposal with these two babes. Well… a real on your knee, in your underwear, with a ring kind of proposal.
These two met when odd’s were stacked against them. Both in other partnerships, one with kids, but they pushed on and on and are an inspiration to me to just follow your damn heart.
When Gabby reached out to me with the idea of a couples boudoir session with a surprise proposal towards the middle of the session, how could I say no! The session started with a light game of strip poker, naturally. Which by the way, may be the cutest way to get into the boudoir mode with your partner. For them, it was immediately into nude mode, which I love. I mean, we’re all friends here so might as well do the nude portion right at the top of the session. (the best!)
From there we took our nudey nude photos and then moved to some solo portraits! Of course, I had to start with Ruthie and I had to face Ruthie towards to window, so Gabby had time to grab the ring. Then of course, I back up, Ruthie naturally turns and see’s Gabby down on one knee! I have photographed a lot of proposals, but never in underwear and it’s one for the books! Would not be mad if this happened again <3
