Jada and Kyle’s magical wedding at the Olympic Sculpture Park… Not sure if to being at age 5 when they met for the first time or to skip until they initially booked with me. Probably both, we’ll keep this fist part short. They met when they were 5, both their mom’s were friends, and almost nearly 20 years later they got married. They thanked their mom’s at the wedding for setting them up basically said sorry that it took so long. The sweetest. They even made a special shout to out me at their wedding, I can’t.
So already, you get an idea of how lovely and wonderful these two are. I knew from the moment they inquired that they, their wedding and the time we would all spend together would be so special. It continues to be so special too. They’re currently on their honeymoon and we’re meeting when they are back to talk all about it. JUST THE BEST DAMN PEOPLE EVER. Okay, Kendra. Focus and tell the damn story.
K, coolest people ever, love them endlessly, wish I could photograph their day over and over. It was a perfect day. Summer in Seattle but not too hot. They had a intimate Chinese tea ceremony with all their family before the wedding ceremony. The best part of the Chinese Tea Ceremony was Jada’s grandma giving them her gifts, you won’t miss her, she’s the cutest little old lady with so much love in her eyes. There were endless teas throughout the day. Sad one’s and a lot of happy ones. The mother son dance was the moment where I lost my shit a little too. Kyles dad passed a couple years ago and during the dance Jada is hugging his sister in the background who is crying. Yeah, that got me for sure!
I can go on and on as you can probably gather at this point, but to save everyone and myself time, I’ll end here. Just the best day, not only surrounded by the best couple but all the people Jada and Kyle love and respect so I was basically just surrounded by ALL the best people ALL day. My second shooter and I could not stop talking about the way we felt that day. Thats damn good. 🙂
