Kyndra & Alan’s two day 4th of July weekend wedding!
Where to begin…
I hoped in my car to start the long and beautiful trek to the Olympic National Forest on July 4th for Kyndra and Alan’s part 1 wedding. The entire evening was filled with the most stunning views of Lake Quinault, Washington beaches and hideaway parks that look like something out of the midwest. With a light overcast of clouds, as per and a few fireworks to end the night, the day was made for photos I was all about it.
Alan champed his wedding weekend in cast after accidentally slicing it open with a machete. You heard that right. Kyndra holding his cast as he read his vows was probably one of my favorite moments of the day. That and getting a shot of 4 little otters bobbing their heads of out water looking at us all on shore during the ceremony. Every time I see animals appear at wedding’s I always like to think it’s their loved ones who passed on showing up on their big day. Which leads me to a very interesting thought, I think we all come back as animals, I swear it!
A wedding full of love, family and dogs. Part 1 wedding day was simply perfect!
Part two wedding was at a lovely property out in Sedro Woolley and was the best little summer evening party. There were horses, people camping, tacos, delicious cupcakes, beer on tap and all the best lawn games. Learning how to throw a solid party is key to having any good wedding. Kyndra and Alan planned two amazing days both totally different and wonderful in their own ways.
After the night ended Kyndra and Alan asked everyone to gather back on the dance floor and dance to their first dance song they had done earlier in the evening. One of the most precious things I have ever seen at a wedding! I was literally in the corner snapping away and vividly saying “awwww” the whole time.
Lovely people know lovely people and I am always so blessed to be surround by my amazing clients and their loved ones. I’m Kendra with an ‘e’ and I like to document parties!
