I’ve never planned sessions this far out, but summer will look like six feet of separation and outdoor sessions!
What I love the absolute most about outdoor body sessions is that a. I get to photograph a badass human, which is my favorite and b. I also get to simultaneously explore an amazing part of nature, which is also my favorite. Both of these things I have not been doing these past couple of months and it has suckkeddd.
I’m excited to be planning some magic for some awesome people for summer though and making it work! We’re scheduling out, but it’ll be worth the wait to be able to photograph some more sessions and actually be able to pull my camera out of the bag. This has been such an unprecedented time and I may or may have been using some of this time to actually take off from photographing. It’s nice to know my camera is there when I am ready, but sometimes it’s nice to have a break from work… so you can focus on all the other work.
Until this all eases up a bit, I am so excited to get back out in nature and stay a healthy distance from one another and create some new and fresh work. This day up in north Washington with Mark was a favorite for sure! This location had so much to offer and we were lead on an incredible journey throughout the entire session. Meaningful days of work like these are what I am most looking forward to ahead.
That and bars and shows and gatherings and and friends and long walks on the beach.
