When a silver fox walks into the studio….
Met this amazing human at one of my weddings! She was family to the bride and groom and also the musical performance at my clients wedding!! I obviously thought she was the coolest, and then she emailed me about doing some boudoir- insert hallelujah chorus.
Dream come true. To be able to work with many people at all different ages is a damn blessing. But to be in the presence of an older woman is spiritual, try and convince me otherwise! Women are wise. The older we get, we become more wise. That power exudes in their presence and to be at an age where you juts love yourself, you’ve done the work, you have the mechanisms to heal quicker as you age, that is powerful!
Everybody, every body. We all deserve love at every size and every age. Whether you come to this session already in love with yourself or not, this space is for you to show up for yourself at whatever place you’re at. Aging can feel easy and fin for some, but for others aging can also feel difficult. Showing up where you’re at is enough. You feeling 50% good is still as deserving as you feeling at 100% good. Life is cyclical and we must learn to ride the waves and support ourselves through this process. As long as we can continue to show up for our bodies and ourselves in a positive way, even just a little bit, it’s imperative to our self love journeys. I know there are days where I don’t show up for my body. But as long as I do one little thing a day to show it that I still love it a little bit, I know that helps me out tremendously.
This journey is one we’ll be on for the rest of our lives. I hope you one day have the want and courage to show up for yourself in a big way and get some photos taken of your beautiful self.
And if those brave babes want boudoir done in their 60’s, then let’s do this baby!
