I’m back! I mean… I’ve always been here but it has been A WHILE since I have blogged.
2020 was a sure hell fire of a year and I think I needed to take some time, as I’m sure many of you out there have had. I hope everyone who is reading this is doing well and fine in their lives, amongst all this chaos, especially those of color and disabilities, my heart and love and appreciation reaches out to you all.
With 2020 now gone and in the past, I have been shown now more than ever how important friends and family are. I am thankfully blessed to not of experienced any personal losses of friends or family due to COVID 19, but I know there are quite literally, hundreds of thousands of people who have been personally effected by this pandemic. My heart goes out to each and every person who has lost a loved one due to this virus.
Family. Friends. Community. Humans.
This is the only thing that matters in life. Sharing your love, successes, triumphs and heartbreaks with those you love is the only thing that matters at the end of each and every one of our days. Having the support, the encouragement and the love of those we cherish is undeniable, especially through a year of such heartbreak and uncertainty and dare I say, unprecedented times. Those who stand by you and support you through the hard times are the ones you hold onto forever. We never know the days that will come when we do experience that loss of a loved one. So be thankful for those who carry you through life. Their presence means more to you than they will ever know.
So smile. Laugh and tell them you love them deeply.
