Locations: Ebey’s Landing, Deception Pass, Fort Casey
The moment I got the email from TJ saying they wanted to hire me as they’re photographer for their intimate wedding in the woods next year, I was on pins and needles to meet them! Since TJ inquired with me and not Danielle, which I thought was awesome, normally it’s the other way around, I reached out to Danielle and we got to planning the engagement session! We instantly clicked and I become even more exited to meet them both and take some awesome photos!
Since Danielle still lives in Florida and is finishing school, they wanted to go on a very Northwest hike and take all those epic northwest photos on top of Rattlesnake Ledge and get that experience plus taking their engagement photos. Due to the lovely and unpredictable weather in Washington, we had to skip hiking and chose to hop on a ferry instead and drive far away from the rain and explored all around Whidbey Island instead.
I’m glad things ended up happening the way they did. We went to not one but three awesome locations over on the island and I got to share their first Washington Ferry experience with them! These two are so cool and once their wedding is over and Danielle has moved from all the way across the country, I totally call dibs on being their friends.
